Here's a series of process photos of the desk I built for use while in Korea.
Ash boards I've got were horribly warped and unfinished, and without a jointer, I had to somehow hand plane it roughly and leveled it with my CNC router.
After putting boards together side by side, CAD model of the tabletop was put into CNC and roughen then finished. The process alone took approx. 15 hours.
Aprons are glued down on the bottom of the tabletop, and diagonal support bars and the legs are attached mechanically, to hold up against each other by tension.
I wanted to have the legs slightly (5 degrees) stand outward on both up/down and left/right. So when it is viewed from either front or side, legs are subtly sloped to the side.
Underneath the table top, it is sloped from the center to the edges, so it gives a visual feeling of lightness.
Using sophisticated CNC set of tools and extensive knowledge of manual crafting and fabrication, this desk is made possible with lots of head/hand coordination of mine only.
